Index finger on pressed lips…
I was at Barnes and Noble today, trying to read Jericho’s new book in one sitting so I wouldn’t have to spend money on it. I tucked myself into a corner of the store where I figured no one would go. Craft books and some sports books were the only things near, yet people kept standing right next to me looking for books. I am really trying to be more patient with people lately, so I did my best to ignore them and kept reading. Then, a frail middle-aged woman came near me with a clerk and she said she couldn’t find what she was looking for. The worker looked for a second and then said, “Here! Game bow-hunting!” I got up chuckling, and ended up buying my book so I could read in private. She didn’t buy her book, it was the wrong bow-hunting book..
